If you missed the caerhun duo and rhiw burial chamber then youve probably only seen half of what there is. What you need is a postman, unfortunately I've only got two more day out options before I have to go in hospital (ive not made any plans beyond that yet) just thursday and sunday next week, so I'll probably be heading snowdonia way.
Of course the weather might intervene in some way.

You are probably right. Although we did see quite alot.

I'm afraid that Sweetcheat has to put up with my slower walking pace, so he would probably see more with a faster companion. And without two dogs insisting on checking out every bush en-route

And those views...well they demand attention around every turn...

I don't want to jinx it so I'll say this quietly. We have had the most amazing weather on both our trips out. We've been very lucky.

Yes, and I fully intend to take you up on your offer, so you'd better get yourself recovered pretty soon. We have the Drum ridge to visit.

Hope the weather is good for you for Snowdonia, and even more I hope everything goes well hospital-wise.

By the way, on the way up to Caer Bach we came across something odd beside the track: looks like a chamber of some sort (although very small internally) underneath a massive flat boulder. It looks very man-made, at least the space underneath the "cap" appears to be stone-lined. OS ref is (very) approx SH743727 but there's nothing on Coflein at all, or in the Frances Lynch book Blossom has, that covers the area in some detail.

Have you come across it on your visits?
