We are very proud of what we helped to make and the pleasure it has brought to the visitors.
It's a beautiful place, and you should be proud. You walk in, and the pictures on the walls are the first thing you notice. Then you start to pick out the details of birds and faces carved into the woodwork. Then your imagination kicks in and you can see a fire burning and joints of ham or whatever curing in the rafters above. Then doors or hangings where there are now only open spaces. Well worth a visit if anyone's in the Avebury area (very easy to get to - just up the hill from Wroughton).
