Was appalled today to see the bright paint splashes still minging up the stones around the whole circle. Were the perpetrators deliberateley using lichen yellow or was it a coincidence? Enjoyed a brief conversation with some non-antiquarians who were still incensed enough to agree with my varying and animated suggestions to do 'stuff' to the perpetrators.
