Thanks Earthstepper. I don't want to bore the group with another drawn out discussion about 'arty modification of sites', but tomorrow's visit, that is quite special to Summer Garland & I, will be tarnished if the ball's still there.
Our last visit to Glastonbury Tor was (only slightly) marred by the scaffold on top of the Tor, and a visit to the Nine Ladies earlier this year was hampered by the railings. Now that's necessary renovation - unfortunate for the visitor but vital to the lonevity of the site. . but the ball at the Rollrights will be a real 'ball-ache' if it's there tomorrow.
