Am off to the Rollrights tomorrow. Is that big silver ball still there? I hope not. I'm sure it was unique and arty, but after a two hour drive I want to see the site 'proper' - without the Xmas decorations!
(don't I sound grumpy?)

Join the grumpy club mate. I thought that ball was far more intrusive than the NT addition to the Uffington horse that caused such a fuss.

Hiya Grumpy!
Be reassured - the Kapoor sculpture has gone* and you'll see the Rollrights in all their naked glory. Frankly, I thought the Kapoor was marvellous and I saw the Rollrights afresh with it there.
