Speaking of Barningham, Mr Laurie speculates about the Grey Stones (close to stones
1 & 2 being a possible embanked stone circle or a later prehistoric settlement. Have any of the group had a look up that way? any thoughts?

fitz, not sure what went on in that area, I understand the N Barningham sites were surveyed prior to me joining them. Judging by the recorded grid refs, it doesn't look like 1 or 2 were found though. I'll look into it a bit more.

yeh, I was tempted earlier to post a "been there done that" reply, but decided better of it! :)

I should point out that those photos weren't actually taken in August................
