Just checked my photos and I can confirm the stones you thought were Fernacre are an old field system....which I umed and arred about posting as a separate site but could not prove the age of....

Damn and blast!! What a nightmare. I was getting really frustrated and thought it was there but the map I was using wasn't very accurate.

Definitely going to come back down in August, early Sept at the latest so will definitely give you a shout.

Let me know if you find the site I posted and let me know your thoughts. Thanks for your help - I'll remove the notes and photos of Fernacre. Damn!!!! Definitely unfinished business!
