This is the one I excavated in 2001 - http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/33833 - it's on the SMR but no visit from El Hexhamite. 300m. from tarmac road - the stone had been buried for hundreds, probably thousands, of years. The all-over small cups were absolutely fresh - have now been driven over several times by a cutting bar. Rock is now scarred. Group of maybe a dozen stones in strip two hundred metres by five hundred. Will draw map, for here, with free time. Will turn delinquent farmers in to EA in meantime. Need occasional excavator next summer - socket holes mainly. Have charvas already. Maybe I'll get in touch with lady at D. U. in New Year - her speciality is Iberian R. A. ||||| D.U. is nearest geographically and both my kids went there - so probably owe them.
