The first one - the Jura one - was fascinating. Mostly about Orwell's time on Jura at Barnhill. It brought back some memories.

Ever been to Jura? There is absolutely nothing there. A few buildings and a visitors centre. No disco or anything!

The wildlife is fairly good though..if you have a couple of weeks to spare!

Iona is fairly nice though.

Have just listened to the Jura episode and as you say it is a fascinating insight into George Orwell's life at Barnhill. I didn't know the inspiration for his novel 1984 came from his time there.
