1st week in November we are going up to look at properties. After 3 years of fannying around we have decided to up sticks and move to Lewis. No idea if we'll stick it out for more than a couple of years but you have to try these things out, don't you.

Just imagine, you can all pop in a for a brew at Chez Vicster next time you are visiting ;-)

Good on ya V and good luck. For years I've been toying with the idea of running a B&B somewhere close, but not in, Avebury - special rates to TMAers and Japanese-style breakfasts for those interested :-)

It should be fun doing up a house out there, was thinking last week when you mentioned it about eco-houses, but as it is on rock you can't burrow down. Make sure you can garden as well for veg and fruit.. careful of the wind turbines as well ;)
