I agree on the idea of an alignment with the Fiddler stone - it makes sense. I intend to dowse along the row on my next visit and will include the Fiddler.
Interesting that a line taken through both Fiddler and Maidens follows the A39 so closely with St Columb Major to the South and the mouth of the Camel estuary to the North. Interesting too the siting between Trelow and Rosenannon Downs all overlooked by the Longstone on St Breoke Downs.
A tantalising glimpse of what might have been a significant routeway.
