'Some obliging soul' has removed one of the railings again so access is now possible INSIDE the dirty great railings.

Fantastic!
I was contemplating climbing them when I was there, but didn't fancy either skewering myself or falling into the dolmen and braining myself.

Now we just need to make sure English Heritage don't find out...

And I thought it had always been open! Last time I went there 5 years ago I could easily slip in. I mean what's the purpose of the ugly victorian railing if everybody gets in? To hell with it! Maybe people wouldn't feel the need to 'trespass' and the dolmen would be better preserved.
