That's certainly in the right area, Bazza. But then there's this one: http://www.nwkfhs.org.uk/ayle_plc.htm which mentions a distance of 3 miles from Kits Coty.

Hmmm.

I'm down that way tomorrow, as it happens. It's been a while since I did some 'on the ground' scouting. I'll see what I can find...

It's not much to go on!

"At Horsted is a monument of upright stones, erected, as is supposed, to the memory of Horsa, the brother of Hengist" and three miles distant is another, called 'Kit's Cotty-house'...."

Seems sadly lacking in any kind of real knowledge... Reckon you've got yer work cut out!!!!

Didn't get a chance to look around unfortunately - traffic was unbelievably bad, it took us over 2 hours to get there, so time was tight for us. Maybe next time...
