Not made it there yet. Was hoping to pop in on our way back from Scotland during the summer, but ended up passing through the vague vacinity of the Gop at about 1am. Somehow I didn't quite feel like it.

Do you have a GPS? It'd be nice to add the caves to TMA, maybe with a site group for The Gop and the caves.

Coflein also points out a possible barrow in the wood through which one walks; this is likely a natural feature.

Plenty to see in the area; one could easily spend a good few hours visiting the sites there.
