Is this the one on Ilkley's tops by the triangulation pillar? Have you got an OS-ref for it? If it's the one at the very top of the moors, it's this:

I've just gone back to the website....it's actually called Archaeology in Europe (sorry). It looks like yr right - the "circle [..] surrounds the triangulation point at the highest point on the moor".
I went home to Amesbury for the day on tuesday and saw another new stone circle .... they've built one at the entrance to the housing estate where my sister lives! Apparently it attracts tourists!!
