Anyone got a more specific grid ref?

Am heading to the polisher tomorrow if it stays dry enough and thought I'd try see the cup marked stone as well. Now I am the proud possessor of a GPS, anyone got an 8 figure ref for this stone? Or are Hobs instructions and a ref of SU****** enough?

that plenty enough.
Look out for the standing triangle stone nearby as a marker.
While there why not check out the cupmarked stone, harder to find tho.

Try the ADS website: http://ads.ahds.ac.uk/
They give grid refs for most sites.

Thanks peeps. I have been to the polisher a couple of times now, last time I spent ages looking for the cup marked stone without knowing where it was nearby or what it looked like :)

At least I'll be better prepared this time!

Hang about. I thought we agreed not to publish the grid reference for the Polisher?!

Am I being over sensitive? It's been debated at length in the past.
