How bizarre!
I thought that this morning when I saw a picture of the Hawkstone in Megaliths by David Corio (fabulous xmas pressie).
They do look scarily similar, I've not seen the Hawkstone up close, any idea what its surroundings are like?

The Hawk Stone stands out on its own at the edge of a field. The typical landscape arrangements apply; far reaching views out to the east, south and west; behind, to the north-ish, the brow of the hill soon fills the horizon. Check out these pics by Moth and myself:
