not necessarily, Perthshire is of course The Perfect Centre (TM) and is ideally placed for relatively quick access for the whole of Scotland, so it's not as daft as it seems

the plans are only on hold, they are planning to re-submit their application, so it could yet happen

see this week's StonePages ArchaeoNews for the full story

They've just put the plans on hold but they want to build on a flood plain. Who will foot the bill when this place floods. Will they never learn - flood plains are exactly that, plains that flood. If they stop the flooding here it will go somewhere else that is not prepared for it. It makes me so cross that these people do not use the brains they were given all for the sake of making money.

Perhaps I should have said 'a touch of the De Loreans'.

This scheme has always had the smell of big time scam about it. There must be some grants/tax incentives from the EC or UK government that these guys are trying to tap into.... or could it merely be a smoke screen to allow planning for housing .... anyway, who am I to say .... certainly there was no offence meant to either Perth, 'The Perfect Centre' (wasn't that taken from a Milk Tray advert) or the Film Industry, both of which are favourite places that I seek to escape to.
