I had a wander around briefly up there and decided it was either a large cemetary containing multiple passage tombs or it was something related to the quarry (like the two mill? stones up there)...

I'm going up again at the w/e, any exact directions? Or are we talking just about that area above the quarry?

I thought the same, it could be a really exciting area or it could just be quarry. There were several suspect formations but the one i refer to is eastwards after the "random" scattering of stones, probably about halfway between the stream and the quarry. Once you find the area I am talking about there are several similar formations.
