Just read your weblog about the gold cape. We went to see it, and agree that it is fantastic (like everyone else who saw it, I guess).

You mention that you think the area was important - I seem to remember reading somewhere that Yr Wyddgrug translates as monument or mound. Damn sight better than translating as Mold anyway. Can't think of many other places with a similar name, certainly none where a pretty cool cape was found in a monument or mound.

I assumed that Mold derived from the Welsh "moel" meaning a bare hill. Is there such a hill there?
