I get niggled by this tealights thing. Surely a tealight has to be VERY close to a stone to make the slightest damage. All the tealights I've ever seen are on ledges or floors, and would do no damage at all.
A post on here once had people moaning at a photographer for not removing tealights that weren't even theirs when they took the photo. The tealights were on the floor of West Kennet doing no damage at all.
I know that heat rises, and even a tealight can give off quite a bit of heat up to a foot above it in a poorly ventilated area - but I think we should have further evidence of the proximity of tealights to stones before we sent out the tealight police.

Evidently they are also prone to explode (the glass holders that is not the barrows).

Whether they do damage or not, leaving them behind is still littering, doncha think? That's what gets me more than anything.
