I've just returned from Jersey and visited La Pouquelaye de Faldouet on Saturday.

I can't claim to be very sensitive when it comes to such matters; however, my friend who accompanied me is. She found the site to be warm, welcoming and invited us in. She only felt friendly vibes there and we left in a happy mood after enjoying a wonderful site.

We were completely unaware of the proximity of the former children's home so that didn't enter into our thoughts.

I'm sorry to hear you've had such a bad experience there.

Probably me being oversensitive did you see the strange almost fish shaped dark marks under the capstone? Looking in they were on the right, they have some small brightly coloured stones in them Ruby and Jade. I was there Friday 21st Spring Equinox I didn’t see the home until we left the site though? Got some great photos and went to quite a few sites very impressed with les Mont de Gratenez and Couperon We were lucky with the weather Friday but Saturday was wild.
