We noticed various stone in the vicinity and wondered if anyone knew if they were significant.

First there is a group of largish ones with smaller ones around the base up the hill around the little pond. Wondered if they may be the remains of something or cleared from something nearby? Two have indentations - but don't know enough to know if these are cup marks.

Second there are two largish shaped stones in a garden wall of a house on the road - again with indentations.

Can't judge from the pics .The one in the wall is is recorded .A few stones have "gone missing " since being dug at Milton in the 19 th C.

That stone might be part of the ruined ring cairn in the field across from the Clavas, opposite the main entrance to the car park.
