Hello folks.

I was going to Ireland on my own for a couple of days - but now I'm going to Stonry Littleton and Stanton Drew with some friends on Sunday a little different to original plan but.....

Aftrer reading The MA book about Stoney Littleton I am unsure whether or not we can go inside - saying that it is concreted up.,

Can anyone confirm?

I met a couple at Stanton Drew last month, who suggested that it's now open again, but I ran out of time before getting there to see for myself. I'm told you need to take a torch...

It is open - I am forced into submission and agree completely. "You do need a torch".
What a superb little place - mind ya head!

A few peeps turned up while we were there but they didn't stay long, oh and a couple with their dogs urinating all over the place (and the dogs), I'm sure there was a sign saying NO to the beasts, still at least it not badgers :-)
