>Which flint mines are they?

If you approach Trowse from Norwich turn left down Whitlingham Lane before you hit Trowse village (where the village sign stands) rather than going on and turning right towards Arminghall Henge. Follow the road past all the houses, down to the river n' carry on till you come to a car park. The flint mines are all around there. They appear like big hills n' hollows and were also mined for chalk in the 19thC. A mate of mine tells me you can still find half finished axes and arrow heads... but looks as I may I've found now't yet!

What definately is worth a visit is Warham Camp

That'll be the one I've heard of near Wells... nice one!

Wow, I didn't know those were there at all. Another reason to visit Norwich besides my mum! :)
Have you put them up on TMA as a site?

Gives a good clue as to why the Arminghall henge is there then. Any idea of the path of the inevitable track from the Ickneild way to Norwich?
