I love Giants!

Got anything that references a giant shaking hands with a (possibly) dog headed man?

I have an unusual church archaic carving that seems to depict this. The mans head is very worn, the remaining bit looks decidedly angular and dog - headed, but it may be the stump of an extra facial feature or indeed a different animal.

Not at all sure about that one, I'm afraid. The only dog reference I can think of is the name of the hero Chuchuillin (which no doubt I've spelled wrong) - a name that means "hound of chuillin".

Remotely close to this? (but with a dog instead of goat and chicken-man)

This is by no means the best example, but it's the clearest one I could find quickly. Usually interpreted as the temptation of St. Anthony. This scene is a very common Romanesque image.

The dog often appears on Romanesque carvings and quite often alone and with its dick very prominent.

This may be of interest. I certainly loved hearing the farmer tell me the tale:

Could it have something to do with the barguest and the various black dogs of folklore?
