Canmore calls it (as an alternative name) "Giants Stone" which is either grammatically wrong or is referring to a habit they have.

The Royal Commision refers to the "Giant's Stone" even although there are three of them!! (The two smallest are described in relation to the largest.)

None of this is very helpful is it?

You could go for the Canmore "main" name which is "Tweedsmuir".

Sounds sensible, with the addition of different variations of Giant's Stone as alternative names perhaps?

If Tweedsmuir is the proper name for the site then that should certainly be there as an alternative if it's not the main TMA name of the site.

Any comments from others who have concerns in this area?
