Wonder if anyone might be able to shed some light on this - went to Windmill Hill for the first time a couple of weeks back(despite going to Avebury often i never went there before!!).

On the way back down thought i'd keep an eye out for any sign of this barrow. About half way down on the right of the track that leads to Avebury Trusloe, before reaching the large farm shed type things there was an area of unploughed land in a field that wasn't marked out or separated in any way apart from that it was unploughed.

Is this where the barrow is/was?
