I have been playing with the flash and hdr, not always with skies in shot, it does add a certain texture to the images. It doesn't always work, but its good just trying it to see what happens.

I always forget to pick my tripod up when I set off to find something. It's usually in the car, but I look at the 3 ton mace-like head and think - "blow that!" It's great for roadside sites, but not something I want to lug up a mountain. Such lack of dedication is terrible!

I suppose I should start taking my lightweight one out as well. If myself and Ken find a particular panel we're after today I might well give it a go.
