I think the names for the cup and ring marked rocks at Skyreholme could do with changing. As I see it, one site can be called Burnetts Ridge, another Eller Edge, another Burhill Kiln, another Nussey Green and finally Black Hill Road.

The stone at Burnetts Ridge appears to have had two recent attacks. The most recent, not damaging involved throwing eggs at the stone (it's been suggested this may have something to do with falconry), the other attack involved using two large cups to hold burning oil. I'm concerned that such an out of the way stone should be getting so much attention.

All of these look extremely natural to me. I trip over bits of stone like this every time I go out (well, it seems that way).

Apart from that, which of those names apply to which of the many sites up there?

You could add them as alternative names (if you haven't done so already - I only looked at the images)
