I think the suggestion is that these were "cold based glaciers" which were frozen at the base and moved along this base, thus protecting rather than eroding the land and therefore transporting very little stuff (except some bluestones).

Have you read the BA article? What did you make of the claims for Carn Goedog?

I would imagine there is an application to dig and sample 32d next year?
Although even if that does turn out to be (or is deemed by the appropriate authority to be) from the 'rhosyfelin recess' some will still want to see the thin sections published on the front page of the Daily Mail in explicit full colour before they make their minds up.
