Yes , Castell Mawr was suggested by MPP sometime ago , but the whole idea is silly .

Speculation is fine , but for it's own sake it's a bit of dead end .

There is nothing to support the idea ,no precedent etc .

Like a lot of MPP 's ideas it will be forgotten about in a few years , although there might be "exciting" possibilities in the press but nothing concrete .

To give him his due though, he does seem to have a better 'hit rate' RE: uncovering interesting ancient bits and bobs, and at least he'll stick his neck out, be his theory right or wrong, for twats like me to mull over.
I'd rather all archaeologists were a little more open with their theories, rather than hoarding them under their bed till the pop off this mortal coil.
