Okay, folks..........I THINK that's that theory, which very few people with a brain subscribed to, FINALLY buried. I don't know what takes MPP so long with his side of the debate........I heard him announce it publicly 2 or 3 years ago.
Many of the pronouncements from MPP have been discussed here and sometimes the important papers relating to the debate .
There was little new in the paper apart from the dates and not much to change the minds of the committed , and none expected .
His is not the only view that is not pro glacial transport and there is much that is contentious in the recent paper ,the most obvious being the belief that the bluestones were used in an earlier site prior to being transported to Stonehenge .

I see that he says "We know from examples in India and elsewhere in Asia that single stones this size can even be carried on wooden lattices by groups of 60 – they didn’t even have to drag them if they didn’t want to.” https://mikepitts.wordpress.com/2015/12/07/have-archaeologists-found-stonehenge-quarries/

If and when the truth of that is accepted it changes the whole tone of the debate. It has been claimed that Occam's razor makes glaciers most likely but if you can just pick them up and walk for 3 weeks, well ....
