So no evidence of a double circle then? But the lack of signs of holes in excavated areas is evidence of not a circle, but an arc?

What a pity that recent activity on the site did not check and extend the excavated area within the Sarsen stone vicinity to clarify the Q and R holes structure. Perhaps in the future?

But MPP believes that there was a circle , not a double one , to the south west .
According to Darvill the evidence may not be there anymore .
I doubt we might get any excavation on the basis of finding that evidence .
