I bet there were plenty of comfort stops though! Yes, I've noticed the Hadrian's Wall bus (number 122) has started trundling past. But I'm too knackered to do much any more. I need an operation to fuse two bones together and the prospect is pretty dismal. So we'll put it off for now. There is a bus journey that needs a commentator, but it doesn't start til July. ( http://www.wrightscoaches.co.uk/ ). Just ring them up and ask for Gary! Not that long ago they had a 76 yr old driver and another pushing 80. You'd worry that there heart's would stop on a fast bend, or something, but they drove by instinct.
