Perhaps a video of condemned man on death row in a US gaol singing the blues about a Stonehenge opera singer, would be considered tasteless...but not vice versa...funny old world
I agree on the surface of it, the subject matter could be seen as tasteless but if you read Moss' link it appears the performer has gone into it in some depth. What is really inhuman is that men are kept on death row for so long. Although the singer is described as local, her name and appearance sound and look as though she has Middle Eastern origins. I am interested to hear the outcome of her endeavour.

I stand by the view that I cannot see what harm she has done to make a video inside Stonehenge circle - I didn't hear anyone complain when an epidsode of Dr Who was filmed there.

I can't see what harm she has done either, but like you I haven't seen the footage yet and I won't assume from the original post that this singer has done any real in-depth research....However, if she feels so strongly about these poor souls on death row, perhaps she should fly out there and give them a free concert before they meet their inhumane ends.
I suppose filming a science fiction sequence integral to a storyline and using a dramatic setting for publicity reasons are a world apart and more people prefer Doctor Who to opera, so there were less complaints
