I seem to recall a (later?) edition which read slightly differently; something along the lines of -
"Stonehenge and Avebury: Sites which are regularly invaded by local dole-scroungers and (benefit) fraudsters who, when not still in bed and recovering from the night before, consume illegal substances and have sex orgies."
