Isn't that interesting! You couldn't make it up. (well you might be able to on photoshop). You imply it was taken from the north west of stonehenge, and looking towards the south east? I like it a lot.

Yup, your directions are right, just to the East of the Cursus Barrows. No Photoshoppery just a bit of cropping to get rid of a pylon and a fence.
Was there for the Stonehenge Riverside Project and I'm soon going to post some pics and comments about Durrington, Woodhenge and the Cursus. Watch the pic sites!

Congratulations Jimit on taking what must be a prize-winning photo - I have never seen Stonehenge from that perspective before. Where were you taking it from?
