Stonehenge has always been a focus for protest - so its nothing new, Julian Richards - Stonehenge - History in Photographs pictures them all, Stonehenge is truly" iconic" when it comes to people wanting to say something. Perhaps they should have a Hyde Park booth there for all the declaimers of injustice ;) Punch and Judy size..

True enough. I know it could never have been done because the gravel men would have said it was hypocrisy but I do wonder if a stunt like that highlighting the plight of the "other" Stonehenge would have made a difference to Thornborough. I guess we'll never know.
