Actually...stone 36 is the bluestone lintel, so...maybe he wasn't a vandal, a souvenir hunter or even a quarryman...maybe he just had this idea of messing with archaeologists' minds 200 years later, and thought he'd try to emulate the builders by adding a couple of holes himself!
