one interesting snippet......"a piece of limestone carved into the shape of a megalith", so did they carve miniatures before they put up the big stuff?

"The partially cremated remains of two people were buried next to the stone, Pollard said. One was a large male whose unburned vertebrae suggest he was at least 6 feet (182 centimeters) tall."

Presumably something like this is complete guesswork? As with the Oldcroghan Man bog body who was estimated to be 6'6" because of the length of his dismembered torso. I'm 6 foot tall but have very short legs (30") and a long body, so if bits of me were found my estimated height could vary quite a lot. Or is there some technique I'm not aware of?
