I think they've a bug rather than a jinx (or maybe it's gremlins). I fancy I spied a face in the shadows of a sunset early last week - luckily caught on a screen capture.

Stonehenge is missing many stones for a restoration, but there is a good source on Timber Circles and Stonehenge that shows it wasn't a one-off but, rather, close to the tradition of log circles ! (It was inspiring to see all the tribes camped in whatisnow Festival Field, incidentally).
