There seems to be a lot of camera shake in the picture, do you know if the photographer in the middle of the frame was using a flash? If the flash triggered for a fraction of a second shorter than your exposure then it would appear in a different place than the shaky photo places the camera. Also the guy at the back has moved, I wonder did he pop a photo while passing the guy with the tripod?

If it aint that then its definitely a lizard slipping back into the fourth dimension to collect his dole.

Oih! Less of the Lizard stuff.
I thought of that but I didn't see anyone flash and on other photos I have a much different effect when I have caught a flash from another camera.
I cannot see anything that could have reflected a flash or the sunlight.
The Shape is strange and is one of the things that throws me.
It also seems to be quite colourfull which flash or reflection isn't.

the guy in the background doesn't have a cameraphone to his ear, its one of those audiotour handsets.

The link to the pic is bust, but could it be a second shutter sync thing with someone else's flash?
