OK Jim, I'll put you down as a lever-man. This is a two day experiment, on day one we will prepare the stone for transport. It will be delivered to the field and laid flat on the grass, the first experiment will be to lift the stone with levers and place two logs under the stone to transport it on. We will then spin the stone round so that it is pointing in the direction of travel. If we have time after that we will practise stone rowing. We will also have to set up the sledge on the rollers for the hauling team who (If I can get enough volunteers) will report in on the Sunday.

On the Sunday we will try to move both stones up the hill.

BTW I need a drum to co-ordinate the levering do you have one?
