I could create a panoramic from Starry night pro using stonehenge as a horizon.
Another thing is that we have only found 3 post holes in the car park, there could be more.
Hawkins suggested they mark a lunar standstill point.
3 dots in a rough line do not always make up Orions belt!

We have to catch one of these lunar standstills yet ...

The Maes Howe webcams have just seen cloudy skies since mid-December, so the megalithic alignments must have been mainly (?) symbolic.

There is no mention by any of the classical writers of the time of celts in Britain. I guess the celtic invasion went the way of the Neolithic & Bronze Age invasions.
