Many, many years ago, as part of a boring job, I did a risk assessment course. As I remember, it all seemed very simple, and based primarily on common sense. It is possible (but a shade of a long shot) that I may even have some paperwork regarding such an activity. if not, I'm sure we can find something from the HSE website.

Providing there is sufficient time and notice, and all other avenues fail (e.g your broker), and this threatens to stuff everything up, I'll have a go at putting to gether a rudimentary and simple risk assessment. But I'll need some help, as I'm not an engineer.

Have I just dropped myself in it . . .?
