Why not "The Megalith Project"? Then it's applicable to more than just Stonehenge and yet can be focussed on Stonehenge as being the most well-known example. Also, I would drop the bit about ropes. How about making it:

"To Demonstrate an Effective Method for the Transportation of Megalithic Stones"

or a bit snappier:

"The Efficient Transportation of Megalithic Stones"

VERY glad you mentioned that, as a Google search reveals “The Stonehenge Project” already exists and is a big deal! I knew about that, but am a bit rural.

OK, The Megalith Project is excellent (and nothing on Google).

Then, for the phase aim, perhaps combine your two options into

"To Demonstrate the Efficient Transportation of Megalithic Stones"

???

(BTW Gordon, if you wanted to register the project as a domain name I’ll cough up).
