"Stonehenge stuff looked a bit shady though ..."

Agreed. The whole precept seemed based around the fact of two 'windows' created from the central Trilithon.

If that's the case, what are the other Trilithons doing there? Why bother with them?

I was impressed with the Newgrange shots though. I hadn't quite got a grip on the scale of the thing from books I've read. Seeing the guy standing there put the size into perspective!

Don't get C5 over here, but sounds like it was worth watching for the 'shady' bits.

Newgrange .... 95m in diameter and 15m tall is pretty feckin big innit! Knowth is slightly bigger and Dowth is taller.

Dowth used to be over 25m high and Silbury shaped ... hhhmmm

I have a visitor at the end of next week so I'll no doubt end up back at Newgrange (again), but then the girl's sister does live on Lewis so .....

awwww.... you're telling me the plot! I haven't seen the video yet.

Lets see if I've got this right...Every 18.61 years (The Metonic Cycle) the Sun and Moon set at the same position at the Winter Solstice allowing, as viewed from the Heel Stone, the sight of them appearing in two "Windows" formed by the central trilithon and outer circle.....sounds pretty cool to me. Does anyone out there know when this Metonic Cycle thing will come round again?
