Hi Rhiannon,

Thank you for your kind words . . . please don't listen to Jane with her rude comments about me being a tart fit only for the scullery . . .

I said I would *really* like to meet you because - I'd *really* like to meet you! You sound so intelligent and amusing in your forum posts, and I've thought for a long time that I'd love to hear you natter over a cup of tea (and possibly some cheese - ooh, you don't have Gigha cheese, do you, please? Whoops, sorry, digressing). The reason I didn't say that originally is because Jane would've slagged me off for trying to pick you up with a cheap line; but on this occasion, I'm not using a cheap line, I'm telling the truth. I can't help it if I want to talk to you!

Christ, whatever I say now will be wrong with someone . . . . :o(

t'chops xx

ah, intelligent and amusing - such flattery, but your posts are similarly well composed (I've been reading with interest your articulate attacks on the National Trust - it's no wonder they don't reply properly, they know they haven't got a chance). Well, I'd be delighted to meet you too. Will you be around at Jane's exhibition on Sunday? If not, it's not that far from round here to round there so I'm sure the occasion will present itself.
