Have I found the Whetstones?

but many people find it very cumbersome to use. And.......

it only covers England and the Whetstone is just over the border in Wales, but you can still see it on there, if you zoom in to 1:10,000 or less.

The MAGIC map is directly accessible from TMA....if you have the plug-in enabled. Go to your profile and edit your preferences to enable the MAGIC map plug-in, then go to the Whetstone page on TMA and click on MAGIC. All that you have to do then is to zoom in.

I never knew about this MAGAIC option. . Burl's 305796 dosen't put it by those rocks in my pic. . so it's looking dubious that the stones at
www.suaveharv.com/whetstones.htm
are the whetstones. But in the field where Burl's Whetstones alegedly are, there are loads of rocks lining the fence. . do you remember them?
I parked right by where MAGIC says the circle was. I've enabled the arial photo plug-in too. . it's a treat!
Now I'm going to look at Winterbourne Basset. . (rubs hands)
